Joint STARS integration program
An Air Force E-8C Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System aircraft takes off for an intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance mission. Engineers with Northrop Grumman Corp., and the 751st Electronic Systems Group at Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., are working on a program to integrate a special sensor on E-8C aircraft that will provide aircrews with combat identification and reduce fratricide.
