Providing shelter is a BEAR

Rows of containment units fill the tarmac for the Basic Expeditionary Airfield Resource, or BEAR, facility of the 49th Material Maintenance Group Jan. 16 at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M. Each containment unit houses a integral piece of a BEAR base set which include tents, kitchens, dining facilities, showers, latrine facilities, power generators and reverse osmosis water purification systems. BEAR assets can be placed, prepared and deployed around the world to support combat operations or humanitarian efforts. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Bennie J. Davis III)
