Close encounters of the FalconSAT kind

The U.S. Air Force Academy's FalconSAT-3 and the Department of Energy's experimental Cibola satellite both launched aboard an Atlas V March 8 2007, from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla. Cibola trained its sensors on FalconSAT-3 Dec. 12 through 13 to help determine the cause of a problem that caused FalconSAT-3's attitude to wobble. (United Launch Alliance photo/Pat Cokery)
