Multinational wing completes first mission into Iraq
A C-17 Globemaster III from the multinational Heavy Airlift Wing based at Papa Air Base, Hungary, taxis past the terminal at Baghdad International Airport, Iraq. The airlift into Iraq was a first by the wing and facilitated the deployment for members of the NATO Training Mission-Iraq. The wing operates three C-17s and includes NATO member nations Bulgaria, Estonia, Hungary, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovenia and the U.S., as well as Partnership for Peace nations Finland and Sweden.(U.S. Air Force photo)
