Deployed Airmen find ancient artifacts at Iraqi air base

Iraqi archeologist S.M. Ameen holds some pottery artifacts he found Dec. 26 at one of four Kirkuk Air Base, Iraq, construction sites. Artifacts were first discovered by civil engineering Airmen while grading an area near the flightline. Mr. Ameen is the assistant curator at the Kirkuk Museum. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt.
