AIR FORCE PHOTOS

Col. Chad Manske, commander of the 100th Air Refueling Wing at Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England, salutes a poppy wreath at a Remembrance Day ceremony Nov. 9, 2009, at Angel Hill, Bury St. Edmunds. Servicemembers from RAF Mildenhall and nearby RAF Lakenheath participated in a military procession with British forces before the ceremony. The poppy flower is a traditional symbol of remembrance of World War I. It was in bloom across some of the worst battlefields in the war. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Thomas Trower)
