Buddy Wing Program teams up U.S., Korean Airmen
South Korea air force member Staff Sgt. Hyunjun Choi stands by as Staff Sgt. Craig Simpson and South Korea air force member Tech. Sgt. Yusan Song run through a systems check before launching an F-16 Fighting Falcon Oct. 24 at Jungwon Air Base, South Korea, during a Buddy Wing program exercise. Sergeants Choi and Song are assigned to the 161st Maintenance Squadron and Sergeant Simpson is a crew chief with the 80th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron. The Buddy Wing program is a way for U.S. Air Force and South Korea air force members to develop teamwork, exchange ideas and improve war time tactics.
