Getting it right, before the flight
Tech. Sgt. James Brady communicates with the crew chief to check if the exterior lights of a C-130 Hercules are operating properly. Communication between the flight engineer and the crew chief is vital because it allows Sergeant Brady to ensure the aircraft is responding to adjustments he makes inside before takeoff. He is assigned to the 777th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron and is deployed from Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Joshua Garcia)
