Servicemembers reach out to Afghanistan women
Army Spc. Raven Gibbs encourages children at a Herat elementary school to hold up their books Sept. 29 in Afghanistan. Specialist Gibbs, a medic assigned to Camp Stone in Herat, and nine other U.S. military women met with female teachers to drop off donated and requested supplies and to discuss ways coalition and the Afghan national security forces could be of assistance to the school and to Afghan women in general.
