Airman 1st Class Alexander Buck climbs into a de-icer Sept. 19 at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska, prior to practicing de-icing techniques on an F-22 Raptor. The de-icing test will help officials gather technical data on how cold weather effects the maintenance crew's capabilities while working with this aircraft during the winter.
