McChord C-17 crew flies medevac mission out of Antarctica
Master Sgt. Howard Halter functional checks medical equipment on a C-17 Globemaster III before taking off on a medical evacuation mission to Antarctic Aug. 28 from Christchurch, New Zealand. Sergeant Halter is assigned to the 446th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron from McChord Air Force Base, Wash.
