Astronaut orbits Air Force Week science day
Four-year-old Kiaden from Concord, N.H., takes a closer look inside a 60th Anniversary Air Force display during Air Force New England Science Day Aug. 21 in Concord, N.H. "It looks like the big airplane is having a helicopter baby," said Kaiden of the picture of the C-17 Globemaster III unloading a Blackhawk helicopter. The Christa McAuliffe Planetarium hosted the Air Force New England Science Day, which provided children and adults hands-on displays of Air Force equipment, a model rocket launch demonstration, an F-16 Fighting Falcon static display, and "Do Something Amazing" display trailers.
