Crew chiefs work around the clock

Airman 1st Class Rico Babas uses a speed handle to place panels on an F-15 Eagle during an Aug. 23 base exercise at Kadena Air Base, Japan. By doing this they ensure the panels are in place and won't fall off during flight. The base conducted a three-day base exercise to demonstrate its ability to deploy and generate aircraft. Airman Babas is an inspection team member with the 18th Equipment Maintenance Squadron. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Darnell T. Cannady)
