Airmen mentorship helps develop Afghan hospital
Afghan national army Maj. Abdul Ghafar (right) and his Afghan helpers move a load of medical equipment out of his warehouse for installation in a new $6.5 million, 50-bed ANA hospital Aug. 17 in Afghanistan. The state-of-the-art facility is located on the ANA's Hero Camp, just outside of Kandahar Airfield in southern Afghanistan. Major Ghafar is the ANA's 205th Hero Corps warehouse commander.
