Airmen equip Afghan hospital with supplies, knowledge
Lt. Col. Gil Weston (foreground), Master Sgt. Doug Suddueth (right background) and Army Sgt. 1st Class Antonio Rivas install hospital beds Aug. 18. The beds were transported from a warehouse across the street to the newly built $6.5 million, 50-bed hospital on the Afghan National Army's Hero Camp, located just outside Kandahar Airfield in southern Afghanistan. Colonel Weston is a medical health facilities planner deployed from Atlanta. Sergeant Suddueth is a medical logistics technician deployed from Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala.
