Bolling dedicates theater to legendary actor, Airman

Col. Terry Ross (left), Carson Green and Lt. Col. Diane Jones cut the ribbon at the Jimmy Stewart Theater Dedication Ceremony Aug. 13 at Building 52 on Bolling Air Force Base, D.C. The theater is named after Brig. Gen. James Stewart who enlisted in the Army Air Corps in 1941 and rose to the rank of colonel in four years. At the time of his enlistment, Mr. Stewart was a famous actor with an Academy Award to his name. Colonel Ross is the 11th Wing vice commander, Mr. Green is the president of the Jimmy Maitland Stewart Museum, and Colonel Jones is the 11th Mission Support Squadron commander.
