1st Lt. Andre Dieu positions a C-17 Globemaster III for refueling by a KC-10 Stratotanker over the Pacific Ocean Oct. 1, 2009. The C-17 was en route from McChord Air Force Base, Wash., to Pago Pago, American Samoa, supporting humanitarian relief efforts. A team of Federal Emergency Management Agency officials and 17,000 pounds of communications equipment were on their way. Lieutenant Dieu is assigned to the 7th Airlift Squadron at McChord AFB.
