Chernobyl children's group visits RAF Lakenheath
More than 20 Belarusian children huddle around 1st Lt. Jacob Anderson, a 494th Fighter Squadron pilot, as he talks about the F-15E Strike Eagle at Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England. The children got to tour the base as part of their visit to the United Kingdom through a charity called the Chernobyl Children Lifeline. The charity was founded for the children of Belarus, which is a developing country that suffered most from the fall-out caused by the Chernobyl nuclear accident in 1986.
