Gunfighter Flag wraps up
A CF-18 Hornet from the 409th Tactical Fighter Squadron at Cold Lake, Alberta, Canada, returns to Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, after a simulated training mission Sept. 23 during Gunfighter Flag. The 409th's Hornets participated as friendly ?blue air forces" during the exercise. Gunfighter Flag, which ran from Sept. 14 through 24, was Mountain Home?s first large-scale, multi-national exercise which brought more than 450 personnel from the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy and Canadian air force to the base.
