Kadena prepares for typhoon
An Army Soldier from the 1-1 Air Defense Artillery Brigade washes a Hemmet along with the Patriot Advanced Capability missile equipment in preparation for Typhoon Man-Yi July 11 at Kadena Air Base, Japan. The 1-1 ADA stored their most valuable equipment in a hangar near the Kadena AB flightline in preparation for Typhoon Man-Yi, the first typhoon of the year for Okinawa. Before having them stored, both the equipment and vehicle are washed at Papa ramp to prevent foreign object damage. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Reynaldo Ramon)
