Airmen demonstrate their importance to Afghanistan, joint operations
Chief Master Sgt. Dennis Vannorsdall congratulates Master Sgt. Gary Walters, Medical Embedded Training Team, for being an forward operating base superior performer Aug. 30, 2009. The Airmen are assigned to FOB Lightning as joint expeditionary tasked Airmen who work day-to-day for Army commanders while they're also administratively assigned to Air Force commanders under the 755th Air Expeditionary Group at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan. The JET Airmen are part of the Embedded Training Team, which mentors Afghan National Army Forces in many skills to include medical and public affairs.
