Osan AB's airfield damage repair team train with South Korean air force
Senior Airman Christopher Davis records data from a dynamic cone pentrometer test Aug. 19 at Jungwon Air Base, Republic of Korea. The reading is used to determine if the crater is sufficiently filled and compacted to withstand aircraft landings. This process was part of a joint combined rapid runway repair training exercise with Airmen from the South Korean air force's 19th Tactical Fighter Wing and 91st Air Civil Engineer Group. Airman Davis is assigned to the 51st Civil Engineer Squadron at Osan Air Base, South Korea. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Stephenie Wade)
