Honoring the flag
The sun cast a diagonal shadow of Staff Sgt. Jody Nitz on the U.S. flag while he and fellow Airmen conducted an official flag raising and folding ceremony April 21 in Baghdad, Iraq. The Sather Air Base Honor Guard raised and folded 23 U. S. flags. Sergeant Nitz is assigned to the 447th Expeditionary Medical Squadron. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Cecilio M. Ricardo Jr.)
