Portal to AF past found at Frankfurt Airport
Stephen Syring (left) and Army Sgt. Deon Washington look through a time capsule buried in 1996 by Airmen of the 626th Air Mobility Support Squadron assigned to then Rhein-Main Air Base, Germany. The time capsule was found during construction for cargo buildings for the Frankfurt Airport. Mr. Syring is a Frankfurt Airport Rescue and Fire Service aircraft rescue and firefighter instructor.
