Air ground operations school helps NATO train Estonian, Swedish troops for deployment
Royal Air Force Squadron Leader Keven Gambold (right) from the NATO CC-Air Ramstein International Security Assistance Force Cell conducted pre-deployment briefings for forward air controllers who call in air strikes during close-air-support operations. Two Estonian air force members and a Swedish army ranger spent a week in pre-deployment briefings, computer simulation, and field training prior to deployment thanks to the joint efforts of the staff at the USAFE AGOS and the ISAF Cell Aug. 17- 21.
