Virginia Tech corps of cadets pay honors to one of their own
The Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets paid honors to one of their classmates in Blacksburg, Va., April 25. Cadet Matthew La Porte, a sophomore in Air Force ROTC Detachment 875 and the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets, was one of the 32 students and faculty killed during the shooting incident at the school April 16. At the end of the service, Cadet La Porte's classmates placed their white Presidential Citation cords on their classmate's casket. (Courtesy photo)
