3rd Bombardment Group reunites at Elmendorf
Retired Col. Bill Beck tells the story about what his experience as a member of the 3rd Bombardment Group during an interview Aug. 13 at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska. Colonel Beck was a pilot for the 3rd BG stationed in Australia during World War II. The 3rd BG stopped Japan from advancing into the South Pacific during World War II. Colonel Beck and several other members from the 3rd BG reunited here for their 20th reunion Aug. 12 through 16. This is their last scheduled reunion.
