Airmen provide force protection 'inside the wire'
Airman 1st Class Jeremy Roberts and Senior Airman Julia Branch oversee foreign nationals working on the flightline at Balad Air Base in Iraq. As part of their force protection duties, the Airmen search vehicles and do personnel searches, providing escort for third country and local nationals working at Balad. Airman Roberts is deployed from the 91st Missile Maintenance Squadron at Minot Air Force Base, N.D., and Airman Branch is deployed from the 59th Medical Wing at Lackland AFB, Texas.
