Lonely Eagles ceremony recognizes fallen Tuskegee Airmen
Retired Lt. Gen. Russell C. Davis addresses military members and civilians during the Lonely Eagles Ceremony at the 38th Annual Tuskegee Airman, Inc., convention Aug. 7 in Las Vegas. General Davis, the Tuskegee Airman, Inc., national president, discussed the legacy of all Tuskegee Airmen and memorialized the black aviators who died since the 2008 convention. TAI is a nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring the accomplishments of the African-American air, ground and operations crewmembers in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
