Drone recovery
Jon Wys talks to honorary Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., "commanders" about drone recovery during a tour of the 53rd Weapons Evaluation Group July 22 at nearby Tyndall AFB. The boat is one of three owned by the Air Force and is an 82nd Aerial Targets Squadron asset. They recover sub-scale drones that are shot down over the Gulf of Mexico during the Weapon Systems Evaluation Program. Mr. Wys is a contractor with Florida Offshore.
