First JPADS airdrop over Iraq a success
Six 1,200-pound Improved Container Delivery System bundles of water and Meals, Ready to Eat are dropped off a C-130 Hercules to support the Army's 82nd Airborne Division in Iraq Feb. 16. This mission marked the first time the Air Force employed the Joint Precision Airdrop System in combination with the I-CDS to support Operation Iraqi Freedom.
