Airmen keep exercise participants flying high down under
Three Royal Australian Air Force F-18s fly in formation alongside a KC-135 Stratotanker during Exercise Talisman Saber 2009 July 19 over Australia. The RAAF fighters received fuel from the KC-135 in order to continue a mock air war designed to improve combat readiness and interoperability between Australian and U.S. forces. The KC-135 is from the 909th Air Refueling Squadron from Kadena Air Base, Japan. (U.S. Air Force photo/Capt. Bryan Lewis)
