Japanese royalty honors America's fallen
Emperor Akihito, Emperor of Japan, lays a chrysanthemum wreath at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific July 15 at Punchbowl Crater, Hawaii. Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko paid tribute to those interred at the cemetery in a ceremony attended by Hawaii Gov. Linda Lingle, Navy Adm. Timothy Keating, U.S. Pacific Command commander and Pacific Air Forces Commander Gen. Howie Chandler.
