Keesler, industry set new Air Force standard for telephone service
Senior Airman Joseph Turpin cuts a live phone cable Nov. 15 with the help of Col. Richard Pierce as part of the dedication ceremony demonstrating Keesler Medical Center's new Voice Over Internet Protocol phone system, which uses the Internet instead of phone lines to connect telephone signals.
