General, spouse receive O'Malley award

Maj. Gen. William T. Lord makes a few remarks after he and his wife, Cynthia, received the O'Malley Award from Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. T. Michael Moseley Nov. 15 at the Pentagon. The award is given to the wing commander and spouse who were the most involved in their community. General Lord was the base commander at Keesler Air Force Base, Miss., where he dealt with four hurricanes, including Katrina and Rita, that devasted the Gulf Coast. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt.
