Coalition forces, Kirkuk officials partner to care for bombing victims
Airmen from the 506th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron assist a Turkish air force C-130 aircrew prepare the aircraft for patient transport June 22 at Kirkuk Air Base, Iraq. U.S. and Turkish airmen, U.S. State Department officials at the Kirkuk Provincial Reconstruction Team, and Turkish Red Crescent Society medical responders helped coordinate and facilitate an aeromedical evacuation for 11 victims of a June 20 suicide truck bombing in Taza District south of Kirkuk city.
