Medal of Honor recipients honored in Boston
Retired Navy Lieutenant John L. Finn, the oldest living Medal of Honor recipient, recently turned 96 years old. He joined more than 70 other Medal of Honor recipients at a special ceremony at the State House in Boston Sept. 27. It has been nearly 65 years since he earned his medal, a chief petty officer at the time, while defending the Kaneohe Bay Naval Air Station during the first attack on Pearl Harbor, Dec. 7, 1941.
