Former POWs carry on American resolve
Retired Maj. William Roberts Jr. is a former POW who was a B-17 Flying Fortress aerial gunner enlisted in the Army Air Corps when his aircraft was shot down July 7, 1944, near Velehrad, Czech Republic.
