Freedom walks to commemorate 9/11, honor veterans
Americans in all 50 states and the District of Columbia will be walking to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and to honor veterans, past and present. Some 120 local Freedom Walks are being held in the coming days around the country, sponsored by local communities, civic groups, schools, churches and grassroots organizations.
