Simulator to help prepare Elmendorf pilots for C-17s
Airman 1st Class Daniel Kolter helps fellow Airmen unload a portion of a new C-17 Globemaster III simulator from a C-17 at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska. Elmendorf is scheduled to receive its first C-17 in June 2007. The aircraft is replacing Elmendorf's aging fleet of C-130 Hercules and will be flown by the 517th Airlift Squadron when they arrive next year. Airman Kolter is with the Delaware Air National Guard's 166th Aerial Port Squadron. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Jared Marquis)
