Memorial salute
Col. Ron Rutland addresses Airmen and Soldiers at a Memorial Day retreat ceremony at Sather Air Base, Iraq, on Monday, May 29, 2006. The colonel, deployed from Dover Air Force Base, Del., is the 447th Air Expeditionary Group commander. The 447th AEG operates the primary aerial port for transient military aircraft entering and exiting Iraq. The base is named in honor of Staff Sgt.
