Berlin Air Show a hit
Capt. D. J. Vollmer talks with a young visitor from atop an F-15E Strike Eagle on May 20, 2006, at the Berlin Air Show at Berlin-Schoenefeld Airport. Captain Vollmer is a weapons systems officer with the 492nd Fighter Squadron at Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England. From May 19 to 21, 120,000 people visited the air show, which promoted the goals of enhancing interoperability among U.S. allies as well as the commitment to the preservation of Europe's security.
