Air Staff badge debuts at Pentagon ceremony

Lt. Gen. Roger Brady, deputy chief of staff for manpower and personnel, prepares to present the new Headquarters Air Force badge to Capt. Brian Humphrey during a ceremony marking the official release of the badge on Friday, May 19, 2006, in the Pentagon. Airmen assigned to the Pentagon will have the option to wear the new badge. The basis for the badge is Air Force heritage and the design incorporates many elements from the Department of the Air Force Seal. Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. T. Michael Moseley approved the design and development of the badge in September. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Scott M. Ash)
