Mannequins help improve casualty care
Tech. Sgt. Jared Schultz demonstrates to students how to secure an airway on a computerized mannequin on Thursday, May 18, 2006, during a new Air Force Special Operations Command casualty evacuation course. The realistic training is geared to better prepare medics for the chaos of combat operations. Sergeant Schultz is an independent duty medical technician and casualty evacuation course instructor with AFSOC. (U.S. Air Force photo/Master Sgt. Timothy P. Barela)
