Hurricane response
Weather forecaster Staff Sgt. Mitchell Westlund takes part in a hurricane response exercise hurricane at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., on Wednesday, May 17, 2006. The 46th Weather Squadron troop said indications are this will be an above average season for storms and that it would be a mistake to take hurricane preparations lightly. With the season right around the corner, from June through November, Eglin held a three-day exercise May 15 through May 17, called "Hurricane Lisette," to prepare for the next big storm.
