Engineers juggle needs, wants with reality
Senior Airman Jody Tolley constructs frames for ventilating the 376th Air Expeditionary Wing headquarters at Manas Air Base, Kyrgyzstan. The 376th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron gutted the building in early February, rebuilt it and added a second level, increasing workspace by about 60 percent. The renovation is one of many projects under way to improve customer service capabilities and quality of life. Airman Tolley is a civil engineering structures specialist deployed from the 4th Civil Engineering Squadron at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Lara Gale)
