Air Force makes Indy 500 debut
Luczo Dragon Racing No. 2 car driver Rafael Matos signs an autograph for a young race fan at the Air Force display May 16 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The Indianapolis 500 May 24 features the debut of an Air Force-themed Indy car driven by Matos, who qualified 12th and starts from the fourth row. The speedway recognizes the contributions of military men and women annually as each of the services display equipment and static aircraft for race fans to see during Armed Forces Day weekend.
