Retired Airman gives Soldier's mother peace
BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. (AFPN) -- Retired Tech. Sgt. Mike Jarrett, woodcraft manager here, cleans up the shadow box he plans to present to the mother of Army Sgt. Lee Myles Godbolt. Mrs. Godbolt, a Hurricane Katrina evacuee, lost most of her belongings in the storm, but was able to save the damaged shadow box of her son who was killed in Iraq. Sergeant Jarrett and his wife heard this story on the local news. They both decided they would replace Sgt. Godbolt's shadow box for his mother. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Brian Ferguson)
