Airdrop in Afghanistan
BAGRAM AIR BASE, Afghanistan (AFPN) -- Staff Sgt. Trenton Lloyd loads an 800-pound pallet of firewood onto a C-130 Hercules for a humanitarian airdrop in southern Afghanistan Jan. 24. Sergeant Trenton is a C-130 loadmaster with the 774th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron. C-130s from the 774th EAS have delivered medical supplies, blankets, small heaters, firewood, blankets and food to help Afghan civilians in remote regions get through the winter.
