Red Flag
NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. (AFPN) -- Royal Air Force Sgt. John Longstaff (left) and Senior Aircraftsman Philip Martin load an inert 1,000-pound bomb on a British Tornado jet Jan. 25 during Red Flag 06-1 here Jan. 21 to Feb. 18. Red Flag tests fliers' war-fighting skills in realistic combat situations. Flights involve more than 80 aircraft, including B-2 Spirit bombers and F-16 Fighting Falcons. The aircraft will fly missions day and night at the nearby Nevada Test and Training Range.
